Google Cloud - Showcase @ Next ‘23 Conference

Next is Google Cloud’s annual event where big thinking and technology converge to embrace the unknown and solve the challenges of tomorrow. We built out nearly 20,000 sqft of space sitting in the middle of the conference to welcome thousands of people to San Francisco for the first in-person Google Cloud Next event since 2019.
A plethora of designed experiences for conference attendees, “Cloud city” was broken up into four main areas: Hero customer stories, AI Innovation Space, Pillar Neighborhoods and the Showcase Theater.

Customer Stories

We highlighted 4 Hero customers (Deutsche Bank, Wendy’s, MLB & Replit) across different industries, verticals and  product use cases. These were large, scenic, interactive builds, which were centers of gravity within the Showcase and AI Pavilion floors. Each customer had a clear narrative that showed the vision and accomplishments of the customer’s journey.


AI Innovation Space

This area centered around all of Google Cloud’s AI initiatives. Through in-console product demos, attendees were able to dive deeper into multiple AI products and solutions and three interactive experiences helped bring to life how AI can directly translate into real-world implementations.


Neighborhoods

With 25 demo stations housing 80+ demo experiences, the Showcase neighborhoods materialized Google cloud’s go-to-marketing strategy while bringing to life demos and solutions that where pillar specific for the offerings Cloud provides to its customers.


Showcase Theater

We partnered with 58 different leading business and technology customers from a broad range of industries to produce 39 lightning talks with audience Q&A that allowed attendees to connect directly with experts. As its inaugural year, we had 2,000+ attendees.
